Askari is a family business that specialize in Warehousing and Distribution all over South Africa and the BLNS Countries
Our offices and warehouses are situated in Pomona, next to the airport. Pomona is well known for easy access and little traffic.
We have been in logistics for 25 years and we always update our means of doing business and our systems. Derek Loubser was trained as a programmer and being one of his strong points we have a state of the art in-house developed stock system that we think is the best in the industry.
We are a disciplined organization and as a result of this culture we have a very strong staff compliment. The last long service awards evening in 2008 we had a 25 year, 15 year and a couple of 10 and 5 years service awards.
Because of the fact that we are not a corporate business it is a hands-on operation that can give a customer a personal service. We will always know where any stock item is at any time.
Our turnover in 2007 was on average 100 containers per month. With our latest systems and employment of senior staff members with excellent experience we can grow the above turnover fairly quickly.
